CHANTELLE WILLIAMS

Chantelle pursued her passion for dance throughout her early training, achieving certificates in dance associations ISTD, RAD and AIDTA in ballet, modern, tap, jazz and freestyle genres. After attaining her national diploma, she went on to train at Middlesex University gaining a Bachelor of Arts, honours degree in Dance Performance, specialising in contemporary dance, taught by direct descendants of Martha Graham and Doris Humphrey. Chantelle continued her professional training at vocational institution, London Studio Centre, as a scholarship student, achieving her second bachelor degree in the Jazz dance company. She progressed to dance across the UK in the Jazz Company tour and in Europe, including dancing for Matt Monro Junior.

Chantelle worked as a freelance choreographer and teacher for well established dance companies in Kent, taking part in Mardi Gras in London and Disney. She ran her own successful dance academy for four years, teaching classes throughout Swale, and then advanced to Head of Dance at a Secondary School, creating a successful department with over 100 option students. Chantelle gained her Qualified Teacher Status and Leadership certificates and is currently studying for her final year of a Masters degree in Education. Previous students of hers, achieving high levels of proficiency in dance have recently secured places at Millennium 2000, Italia Conti, Urdang and Birds College.

 

SARAH WILLIAMS

Sarah trained at the University of Lancaster obtaining an honours degree in Performing Arts. She has been singing professionally for over ten years, both nationally and internationally, gaining a wealth of experience. Sarah is a trained dance teacher (A.I.D.T.A) and has gained her grade 8 in singing with the ABRSM. She has also completed various courses in vocal tuition, technique and performance.

As a singing and drama teacher, Sarah has been working with both individuals and groups for the past 3 years.  Her previous students have gained places at stage schools across the UK, including Italia Conti, The Brit School and Millennium 2000. She has also been running her own dance school since 2006 teaching in schools throughout Kent. Sarah is an enthusiastic teacher who strives to get the best from her students, whilst giving them the confidence and support to help them achieve their goals.

 

CLAIRE ELLIOTT

Claire has an Event Management background, she set up her own business  in 2003 and     has organised and managed weddings, celebrations and corporate events. In 2006 Claire became a Children’s Party Leader and ran themed parties for 4 – 10 year olds whilst continuing to run her Event Management business. In 2009 Claire decided to pursue a career in childcare and gained employment as an Early Years assistant in a Children’s Centre. Claire gained levels 2 and 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development and is now a qualified Early Years Practitioner. Claire has studied and worked with the Early Years Foundation Stage for two years and has a certificate in Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Promoting Inclusive Practice and Food Safety. Claire also holds a Licence to teach Makaton Sign Language.
